Guided Running, Mountain Skills Courses and Natural Running in The Lake District
Mountain running, or fell running as it's also known, is a fantastic way to appreciate nature's wild surroundings whilst getting fit at the same time. Being the only person for miles around on top of a Lakeland summit is an incredible buzz.
Our experienced guides have covered literally thousands of miles of trails, paths and open fell whilst racing, training and just having fun. It's thanks to their skills and experience in the hills that we can bring you Mountain Run - a guiding team offering natural running courses, mountain skills and navigation training. If you would like to take your running to the next stage - and maybe achieve some goals on the way - then mountain running is for you.
We understand your addiction, because we've got it bad too!
We can help you get more out of what you like doing with a few different methods. Either join us for a guided run across the Lakeland Fells or if you prefer, come and learn the skills and techniques it takes to go Mountain Running for yourself so you can keep on enjoying this extremely healthy addiction to the outdoors.
We run specifically designed courses to help you learn how to navigate, what to pack and take with you when you are out in the fells, the skills you need in order to cross the mountains safely.
On top of this, we can also arrange bespoke weekends and days for you to enjoy the mountains without it being all about Mountain Running. We can include yoga with other strength and flexibility skills, plus wild swimming and more. Just let us know what you want and we will take care of it for you.
At Mountain Run, YOUR experience is OUR pleasure, let us take care of you and make your stay in the Lakes unforgettable.
