All UK orders come with FREE shipping. Depending on the size of the product ordered will depend on how we ship, or what service we use. 

Delivery

UK deliveries are now FREE, for any value of order.

This service will be generally a 2 to 3 day delivery, once the item is produced & despatched (see below), unless you are living outside the mainland UK, in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland or Off Shore Islands, such as Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man & also Northern Ireland.

We do not offer next day delivery at present. 

Please be aware that True Mountain products are made to order at present & therefore we quote a "5 day" despatch time scale. This is the time scale for the product to be ordered & then despatched, not the projected delivery timescale. 

True Mountain are a small UK based company with quality at the top end of the scale. They are different from most other outdoor brands that we know about. True Mountain design and manufacture in the UK only, they source their materials from within the UK when possible & only source as far as the EU borders. By doing this, they produce some of the most ethical UK outdoor clothing & equipment that we know about. True Mountain also make to order. This means when you order a True Mountain (TM) product, we send the order through to TM in preston & their team of specialised machinists & cutters set to work on producing 'your' product. Inevitably this takes a little more time, but at least you know that the item you have ordered hasn't been made in a sweat box factory in another country. 

We hope you will appreciate this fact & accept that your product might take a week or slightly more to arrive at your doorstep. Where ever possible we & True Mountain will try to make sure your products arrive as early as possible, but please allow a week from ordering to delivery. 

We will always endeavour to keep you up to date with your order, but please feel free to email us to find out where on the production line your product is.

We use 3 separate service providers & they are: 

1) Royal Mail - Used for small packages. Service used is Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery, it will require a signature so place make sure you are available to sign for it. 

In the event you are out, the postman/woman will leave a card for you to either re-arrange a delivery or collect from your local sorting office, which ever is more suitable for you. If you do not contact the post office in time, then the order will be returned to us for re-delivery. Re-delivery will come with a £5.00 administration & postage fee so please make sure you are available to receive the order in the first place. 

Please check with us if you delivery is not received 4 working day's after you have ordered & we will do our best to chase it up for you. 

You can select a different delivery address if you need to. 

2) DPD Couriers - Used for all packages larger than the small packet Royal Mail specifications, i.e; bigger than a large envelope. DPD offer a great service & providing you supply us with your MOBILE PHONE NUMBER, we will then use this service. DPD will send you a text for the time when the parcel will be delivered. Order with us before 12pm on the day of your purchase and your delivery will arrive with you the following day, the time specified by the delivery driver from DPD. If you find for what ever reason you are going to be out, please reply to the text with either a safe place to have the delivery left, or a different day. You cannot change the delivery address with DPD!

In the event you are not in & the DPD cannot delivery, assuming you have not responded to the text message, DPD will attempt delivery  another 2 times & then return the product/s to our warehouse. Re-delivery will then come with a £5.00 administration & shipping fee so please make sure you are available to receive the order in the first place or text back to advise the best time/day. 

3) Yodel Couriers - Used for all large orders where a correct MOBILE PHONE NUMBER is not supplied. Yodel are not as reliable as DPD & we will only use this service if you have not supplied us with a mobile phone number, so please supply us with one & we will not have to use this service. 

In the event you are not in & the Yodel cannot delivery, assuming you have not asked for the parcel to be left in a safe place, Yodel will attempt delivery  another 2 times & then return the product/s to our warehouse. Re-delivery will then come with a £5.00 administration & shipping fee so please make sure you are available to receive the order in the first place or text back to advise the best time/day.

All the above services generally work on a 24 hour service. Order with us before 12pm on the day of ordering & you will generally receive your order the following day. However there are some instances where a 24 hour service is not possible, these are listed below: 

If you live in the UK, but outside of the 24 hour/Next Day delivery area, then the parcel will take 48 hours to reach your address. The area's that are affected by this are: 

Scottish Highlands & Islands, postcodes starting with; AB13-14, AB30-56, DD8-11, G83 & 84, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-50, PA60-80, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE

UK Offshore Islands, postcodes starting with; GY, IM, JE, TR21-25, PO30-41

Northern Ireland, postcodes starting with; BT

The above postal area's listed (in bold type) will also have variable postage charges applied, depending on the location of the postcode. 

Deliveries will be despatched the same day if they are in stock &  assuming the order is placed before 12pm (Mid Day), although some True Mountain items will be made to order and therefore may take an extra day or two to be despatched, Your order will then be delivered 24 hours after despatch. DPD will send an SMS (Text) message to your mobile phone to advise what time the delivery driver will be arriving at your location, so you know when to wait in for your order. This is not guaranteed & occasionally the service might take 2 days to get the ordered products to you.

If you live in the UK, but outside of the 24 hour service area, then the parcel will take 48 hours to reach your address. The area's affect by this are:

All deliveries are fully tracked & are signed for. There is a facility to be able to advise the delivery company if you have a safe place you would like the parcel to be left, in the event you are not in. This must be obvious for the delivery driver & not somewhere that passers-by can see the delivery item. We do not want your delivery to go walk-about, as much as you don't. It is obviously better to have the delivery address different to the billing address if you know you will not be in to accept the delivery. Use a friends, neighbours or work address & make sure you advise the friend, neighbour or work place that you have a parcel coming and for them to expect it & not go out. 

Orders outside of Europe are subject to a surcharge and we do not process orders online at present. If you wish to order one of our products and your country is not on the list then please contact us by email for a quote.

All orders within the EU include 20% VAT.

Please also be aware that from time to time delivery may be delayed by parties inbetween us sending your items and you recieving them. We have no control over this, so please check if postal strikes, national emergencies etc etc are disrupting postal services as we cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused by external factors.

Next Day Delivery Guaranteed: We do offer a next day delivery service for small items, this carries a £10 charge & can be opted for at the point of payment. 

We supply most EU countries and have zonal costs, they are as follows:

Zone 1: Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, France (Inc Monaco) & Luxembourg, at a cost of £15.00

 

Zone 2: Austria, Switzerland & Denmark, at a cost of £18.00

 

Zone 3: Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, at a cost of £20.00.

 

Zone 4: Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Estonia & Slovenia at a cost of £25.00.

 

Zone 5: Bosnia Herzogovina - £39.00, Bulgaria - £35.00, Croatia - £32.00, Iceland - £52.00, Latvia - £26.00, Lithuania - £23.00, Serbia - £42.00, Romania - £35.00, Norway - £34.00 & Greece - £52.00, these countries have a variable cost & will be charged at the point of sale, as detailed above. 

The transit times of the European Zones is different for each one, below is a list of the expected delivery times. These services are a guideline only & remember the order is tracked from our door to your door, so you will always be able to find out where your parcel is, in the instance it is not received within the guideline timescale provided. 

European Zone Transit Times: 

Zone 1: 2 to 3 days

Zone 2: 3 days

Zone 3: 3 to 4 days

Zone 4: 4 to 5 days
