You’re welcome to return certain goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. They must:

  1. be in what we consider to be a new condition
  2. have labels & packaging (such as shoe boxes) undamaged
  3. include the original receipt / delivery note. Take a copy for yourself if you want

If this is not the case we reserve the right to refund only partially, the exact amount to be at our discretion.

We do not accept returns on items which have been reduced as a Final Reduction. If we do receive any items of this nature we reserve the right to return them at our standard postage charge, which we will charge using the original transaction payment details.

We're sorry for all the legal speak here. We've been around for 35 years and like to treat people like people. If you find anything disagreeable about your order, please get in touch first. Our rules are not set in stone, and we'll listen to your issues and discuss possible solutions which suit us both. Now the official blurb:

If you return items to us please read the following guidelines carefully, as we cannot process returns which haven’t complied with them.

  3. include the original receipt / delivery note. Take a copy for yourself if you want

Please make sure you include the following information inside the parcel, and that you seal it well:

  1. your name
  2. contact phone number
  3. return postal address
  4. order number
  5. an explanation of why you have returned the product (i.e. what is wrong with it) and what you would like doing about it.

If we can’t read your handwriting, or we have no way of contacting you, we’ll keep the item(s) safe for at least a month. In the event of you not contacting us after this time, the item(s) will be held for 1 year (from the date we received it) before being disposed of.

We will have to charge for return postage on items which are purely the wrong size or are simply a mistake by the customer, and will be charged at £5.00 for UK orders, £30 for orders to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Bulgaria. For orders outside of the aforementioned countries the return postage may be higher depending on the courier costs for a given parcel to reach a given destination.

We cannot be held responsible for returns which do not reach us. We therefore strongly advise you to send items back using recorded delivery or signed-for, or by similar means. The responsibility for transit is with you.

If you have bought entertainment media from us, such as books or DVDs, we cannot accept returns on non-faulty items.

If we discover soiled returns posing as new, such as muddy or scuffed clothing or footwear, we reserve the right to keep the item(s) for you to collect, free of charge, or we can return the item(s) to you for a charge of £5.00 (our standard delivery charge for a UK dispatched item).

Faulty goods bought online (if not sold as faulty) can be returned (in a clean condition) to us for a replacement or refund. We will cover the delivery costs both ways, as it is not your fault you have received a faulty product. 

We also reserve the right to discuss with the manufacturer the nature of the reported ‘fault’ (such as leaky waterproofs, faulty stitching and so on), and whether it is a fault or not, before issuing any refund or replacement. We will endeavour to resolve issues as quickly as we can.

Returned faulty items after the 30 day buffer will be accepted at our discretion, and passed to the relevant manufacturer for further investigation. All items MUST be sent in a clean and dry state, to comply with Health & Safety Regulations. If this is not observed we reserve the right to get the item(s) cleaned at your cost before we deal with them properly, the exact amount being at our discretion, dependent on the amount of soiling, the cleaning method, and the nature of the item(s).We also reserve the right to return the parcel and charge you for postage.
